Per Diem Oilfield Jobs in Lower Rockies - $40/hr - Fruita, CO Drillers are needed for Patterson-UTI’s Lower Rockies operations in Fruita, Colorado. These professionals will oversee drilling rig operations, monitor well conditions, and supervise rig crews in a challenging, safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and ready to work rotational shifts in remote locations. Perks & Benefits $40.00 per hour Per diem eligibility Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, HSA, Life Insurance, AD&D, Disability, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program) Paid Time Off as per company policy What You’ll Need High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months experience as a Derrickhand Well Control certification Ability to complete all duties of Floorhand, Motorhand, and Derrickhand Ability to use computers and monitors for tracking drilling activities Ability to use standard formulas and basic math for well control calculations Effective verbal communication skills Ability to climb steep stairs and lift/carry 50 pounds independently Comfort working at heights (50 ft. or greater) for extended periods Willingness to travel to and work in remote locations on a 14/14 rotational schedule (12.5 hour shifts, days/nights, weekends, holidays) Willingness to work mandatory and unscheduled hours with little notice Ability to attend and complete classroom training and testing Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests and background checks, and periodic testing during employment What Will Make You Stand Out Advanced education (college, trade school, etc.) Prior experience as a Driller with PTEN #J-18808-Ljbffr
