The position is fully funded and in the second year of a five-year contract.\n\nResponsibilities\nThe Systems Engineer will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments. Job duties include but are not limited to:\n\nProvide input/support in the requirements validation, operational conceptualization, and developmental testing\n\nWork within Model Based Systems Engineering principals using the Cameo Systems Modeler tool\n\nDevelop alternatives to understand impacts to the architecture\n\nThis position supports integration testing and the verification and validation of software releases\n\nIntegrate with other engineers to find optimal software solutions\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequirements\n\nA Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline\n\nThree (3) to five (5) years professional technical experience with familiarity of Naval Weapon Systems\n\nPossesses a robust knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodology\n\nMust have direct experience with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool and MagicDraw\n\nIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nMust be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.\n\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.\n\nMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirements\nMust currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
