Title: EW Capability Gap Analyst TS/SCIStatus: Full-TimeLocation: Omaha, NebraskaSalary: Salary to be discussed by Bryant Staffing Solutions RecruiterPosition OverviewA federal contractor is seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Capability Gap Analyst to support a joint defense mission focused on strengthening Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) readiness. This role will help identify operational capability gaps, recommend solutions, and support strategic initiatives that enhance EW effectiveness across defense operations.This position requires strong analytical expertise, the ability to work independently, and experience supporting emerging technologies, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration with government stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Evaluate current EW capabilities against evolving adversary threats to identify operational gaps and vulnerabilities.Conduct independent research and participate in studies, working groups, and portfolio management discussions.Develop recommendations to address capability gaps within evolving defense requirements and resourcing frameworks.Assist in creating strategies, operational concepts, and plans designed to improve EW readiness.Support integration of EW solutions into joint exercises, simulations, and operational testing efforts.Represent leadership in national-level EMSO forums, planning sessions, and interagency working groups.Provide guidance on electromagnetic interference mitigation, spectrum management, and operational risk reduction.Prepare reports, technical documentation, presentations, and leadership briefings.Support development initiatives by evaluating emerging EMSO tools and technologies.Conduct software testing, collect user feedback, develop operational use cases, and provide demonstrations and training to stakeholders.Track project progress and communicate updates to leadership and partner organizations.Required Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI security clearanceBachelor's degree requiredMinimum 10 years of experience in EMSO or Electromagnetic Warfare operationsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience in operational analysis, capability development, testing, certification, or related functionsAbility to work independently and quickly learn new systems and technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentationsPreferred Qualifications Experience with defense governance frameworks such as JCIDS and PPBEFamiliarity with defense requirements and resourcing processesExperience supporting Combatant Command EMSO organizationsKnowledge of EW/EMSO policy and joint doctrineExperience representing EW priorities in strategic planning forumsBackground supporting agile acquisition or development initiativesExperience collaborating with government development agenciesExperience delivering software demonstrations, end-user training, and operational feedbackKey Skills Required Electromagnetic Warfare AnalysisEMSO Strategy DevelopmentOperational Risk AssessmentSpectrum ManagementTechnical DocumentationSoftware Testing & User FeedbackCross-Functional CollaborationWhy This Location?Omaha offers a strong quality of life with affordable living costs, a growing dining and entertainment scene, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
