These responsibilities may change from time to time as business needs evolve over time.RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Professional Certifications, Education, Experience and Travel RequirementsKnowledge of production processes and operation of equipmentSkill to control equipment and monitor operations of itAbility to move material with or without specialized equipmentCertified Forklift OperatorHigh School graduate or equivalent1 year experience in a production settingLess than 5% travel requirementPhysical Demands/Requirements: Constantly (over 2/3):Move and transport materials up to 50-60 lbs with or without specialized lifting, moving and rigging equipmentMoves across wet/slippery and uneven surfacesMust be able to position self to perform duties around industrial equipmentFrequently (1/3-2/3):Exposed to work in outdoor weather conditionsAscends/descends heights while maintaining balanceUtilizes tools and equipment such as a shovel to move materialRemains in a seated position while using multilimb coordination to operate forkliftOccasionally (under 1/3):Detect and observe conditions that need to be addressed such as equipment that needs to be painted or materials that need to be moved/removedCommunicates with staff in the process of performing dutiesAbout Baker Commodities, Inc.
