Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Summary: Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, facilitating recovery, and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management Monitor and maintain patient vital signs, including oxygen saturation and respiratory status Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members Conduct patient assessments, educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques, and provide discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration records Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency Requirements: 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $30 HOURLY Opportunity to work with a dedicated and compassionate healthcare team Variety of patient cases and experiences Continuing education and professional development opportunities About Us: At Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to setting standards in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.
