Growing together.Position Highlights & Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient Gastroenterology care to an established patient populationIndependently manage a panel of new and established patientsEvaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of GI conditionsCollaborate closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow Nurse Practitioners in a team-based care modelPractice in an outpatient only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, or callOnce fully ramped, providers typically see approximately 13 patients per day.Schedule & FlexibilityTypical schedule of 4 ten hour daysFull time defined as 36 patient contact hours per weekAfter successful onboarding, providers may have the option for one full day of virtual visits per weekPractice EnvironmentNurse Practitioners are fully integrated, supported members of the Gastroenterology care team, with active involvement in clinical decision makingEstablished outpatient Gastroenterology practice with strong referral demandHighly collegial, collaborative culture that values mentorship and shared learningExperienced physician group with a consistent, team-oriented approach to careNew Nurse Practitioners receive structured onboarding, including mentorship and a gradual ramp up with experienced providers. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
