You’ll have the opportunity to grow with FORE while implementing impactful tools for our clients. FORE is institutionally backed and operates out of Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. We are excited to bring on someone who shares our passion for exploring new technologies, collaborating in fast-paced teams, and evolving with the ambitions of FORE.\n\nResponsibilities\nBackend Development: Design, implement, and optimize backend systems at scale.\nInfrastructure & Deployment: Set up servers, cloud resources, and projects from scratch, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.\nProduction Reliability: Monitor and respond to production issues, proactively improving system resilience.\nOptimization & Performance Tuning: Reduce cloud and compute costs by optimizing resources.\nTechnical Flexibility: Adapt to different project needs, integrating new technologies as required.\nCollaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure robust backend solutions.\nRequired Qualifications\n2-5 years of relevant experience.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.\nExperience working with major cloud platforms and data pipeline best practices, GCP preferred.\nProficiency in Python and its data-related libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).\nFamiliarity with the use of NLP to set up experiments, however deep understanding of how these models work is not required.\nExperience with version control using Git.\nStrong attention to processing integrity and accuracy.\nExcellent communication skills.\nEffective problem-solving abilities using best practices in product testing.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nHigh attention to detail, particularly with data security best practices.\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary range: $80,000 - $125,000, based on qualifications.\nPotential to earn Company Equity.\nIn-Person location in San Francisco Bay Area\nTravel expenses to company workshops in Los Angeles covered for those within a certain distance.\nApplication Process\nWe are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer who is ready to join our team immediately and build cutting-edge AI solutions.
