Medix is currently seeking a dedicated clinician for a travel opening at our client's facility. Responsibilities: Select equipment setup according to specifications of examination. Explain process to patient, and instruct/assist patient in assumes physical position. Select transducer and adjust equipment controls. Keys test data and patient information into computer. Moves transducer by hand over specified area of body and observe sound wave display screen. Photographs images of organs shown on display module to obtain permanent record. Requirements Ultrasound specialty training certification (ARDMS) Active BLS certification Experience in Abdominal and OB/GYN required Vascular experience (plus) Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
