Apply now!\n\nFiller Operator Responsibilities:\n\nOperate and monitor production filler equipment to ensure food safety, product quality and conformity to customer standards and specifications\nSafely and efficiently set up, operate and clean filler machines/equipment as assigned\nBe proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP), operation and/or Clean-in-Place (CIP) of assigned filler machine\nPerform basic clean, inspect and lube functions including basic Preventative Maintenance (PMs)\nActively participate in startup, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset and shutdown of line equipment; clearing jams and reporting malfunctions to Supervisor as needed\nPerform changeovers and line clears; accurately setting up next item's packaging and coding\nReport out-of-standard/specification results to the Quality Department and Supervisor in a timely manner\nComplete handwritten instructions and on-line documentation including Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks accurately and at the required frequencies\nMaintain accurate and detailed work logs and inventory records\nMonitor and review inventory and production levels to achieve the most efficient operating conditions\nMaintain assigned work area and production environment in a clean orderly condition; completing environmental cleaning requirements as needed\nActively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings\nConsistently meet production needs and goals while making efforts to minimize product shrink and downtime\nReport unsafe conditions or other compliance issues to the Supervisor in a timely manner\nIdentify Critical Control Points (CCP)\n\nRequirements For Filler Operator:\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nDedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind\nDemonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines\nCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization\nMust be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to ensure understanding of safety instructions, work procedures, policies, and communications essential to job performance in this role\nBasic math skills plus fractions, decimals and percentages\nBasic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information\nAble to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.)\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment\nExhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships\nMust be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs\n\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
