Full time position; three 12hr shifts per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).\n\nTechnician will float (in a company car) between our Plainfield, Joliet and Shorewood locations to perform x-ray images as needed / ordered by providers.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPerform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and techniques\nPrepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety\nPosition patients correctly to obtain the necessary images\nOperate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functioning\nReview and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value\nCollaborate with providers to determine the appropriate imaging techniques\nMaintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information\nFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment\n\nRequirements:\n\nValid certification as an X-ray Technician\nIEMA Accreditation\nProficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge\nExcellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals\n\nNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
