Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and accountability.\n\nOperational Oversight: Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and adherence to the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.\n\nInventory & Facilities Management: Oversee kitchen inventory, ensuring all ingredients, supplies, and equipment are well-stocked and in good working condition. Manage food ordering and control waste to maximize profitability.\n\nFood Safety & Quality: Ensure all kitchen staff follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Maintain Chick-fil-A’s food safety standards and consistently uphold high-quality food preparation practices.\n\nPerformance Metrics: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for kitchen operations, including food quality, waste reduction, and labor efficiency. Make adjustments as necessary to meet operational goals.\n\nShift Management: Ensure all shifts are properly staffed and kitchen operations run smoothly during peak and off-peak hours. Manage team performance, resolve issues, and ensure all tasks are completed according to company standards.\n\nProcess Improvement: Continuously identify and implement ways to improve kitchen efficiency, workflow, and product quality. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and integrate them into the kitchen's daily operations.\n\nCollaboration with Front-of-House: Work closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure timely and accurate food orders, high customer satisfaction, and seamless communication between teams.\n\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.\n\nMentorship & Training: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for kitchen staff, promoting growth and skill-building to ensure a high level of competency and service.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nAt least two years of Chick-fil-A kitchen leading or directing experience.\n\nMust be able to demonstrate experience with Food Cost, ERQA, Safe Daily Critical, Labor management, Shift Leading, Ordering Inventory, EOM Inventory, Food Cost Gap Report, Donation + Waste, and Ecosure.\n\nProven leadership experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting\n\nIn-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and food preparation techniques\n\nStrong ability to manage and mentor a team of kitchen staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to manage inventory, food ordering, and waste control effectively\n\nFamiliarity with restaurant POS systems, kitchen equipment, and cooking techniques\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or formal training is a plus\n\nMust be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50lbs\n\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure\n\nDesired Skills:\n\nPassion for food and culinary excellence\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple priorities\n\nStrong work ethic, dependability, and adaptability\n\nPositive attitude with a commitment to upholding Chick-fil-A’s values and standards\n\nWorking at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it’s an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
