Because we have strong reason to believe the position will be approved soon, we are proceeding with identifying qualified candidates and conducting interviews. **\nAs an Electronics Design Engineer – Space Exploration Electronic Systems, you will:\nReport directly to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager as part of group of over 55 other Electronics and Electrical Engineers\nWork directly with or as a Team Lead and associated\nElectrical Engineers on a given project\nSupport new designs from conception, analysis, and manufacturing, through to operational test and deployment\nProvide design support and guidance in various aspects of Electronics System Development.\nBe familiar with NASA specifications for Electronics\nComponent development\nDevelop component test stand architectures for various components\nDesign and generate electrical component and lab instrumentation test system designs\nDevelop and or modify LabVIEW code for various test systems\nDevelop detailed test verification procedures\nWork with electrical and mechanical technicians to build and test designed systems\nDevelop and test various breakout boxes and digital/analog sensor emulation systems\nPerform electrical evaluation/selection of instrumentation (pressure transducers, flow meters, pumps, fans, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc.).\nTroubleshoot and repair existing test systems\nConduct analog and digital printed circuit board design for various application needs\nDevelop test software modules to perform specific tests\nWork with eCAD designer to develop printed circuit board designs\nWork in a laboratory environment, following standard operating procedures\nPerform other duties as required and assigned\nHere’s What You’ll Need:\nRequisition Qualifications:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels.
