Estimator - Structural Steel Location: Lakewood, WA (In-Office) Industry: Structural Steel Construction Employment Type: Full-Time A well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an Estimator to support ongoing and upcoming projects out of its Lakewood, WA office. This role is part of a planned transition due to an upcoming retirement and offers long-term stability within a collaborative estimating team. The Role The Estimator will prepare accurate, detail-driven estimates for structural steel scopes, working closely with company leadership throughout the bid and review process. This is a hands-on estimating role focused on plan review, material takeoffs, and practical construction understanding. What We're Looking ForStructural steel experience (required)Ability to read and interpret construction drawingsBackground in steel installation, fabrication, or structural estimatingPractical understanding of how steel projects are builtComfortable working in a primarily office-based environment Field experience is strongly valued, though experienced structural estimators without field backgrounds will also be considered.
