A senior member of the CDE team, the successful candidate, will drive cross-practice collaboration, with particular emphasis on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation, CFIUS and FDI practices.\nThe CDE Litigation Manager will manage relationships, and support research and analysis about clients, prospects, competitors, industries, related internal business, client communications, and related work product, maintaining the Firm’s high standard of excellence. This role supports the implementation efforts of strategic business plans to ensure successful growth and consistency regarding the Firm’s key business initiatives. This role offers an opportunity for growth within the organization, while leading the expansion of client portfolios, cross-practice initiatives, and driving measurable revenue growth.\nEssential Job Duties & Responsibilities\nCollaborate with CDE team, Partners, and select client teams in implementing business development strategies and action plans\nServe as a key senior resource for business and operational support functions related to CDE for several practices in the Firm’s Litigation Department\nDevelop compelling pitch and proposal materials\nDesign and implement practice and industry-related initiatives\nLiaise with CDE team members and Partners to prepare and maintain up-to-date practice descriptions, capability statements, competitive intelligence and other relevant CDE collateral\nWork with CDE team members to accurately maintain the Firm's engagement database and deals and case experience across all channels, as well as other operations and systems\nWork closely with CDE team to maintain website content, Partner biographies and various CDE communications materials across multiple channels\nManage creation of marketing collateral and other promotional materials, working with graphics and outside vendors where appropriate\nWork with stakeholders and the Firm’s events team to coordinate Firm-sponsored events, webinars, presentations, and event logistics\nWork closely with the CDE team to prepare and manage directory submissions and survey responses for various legal and business directories/publications\nFoster and maintain strong relations with key stakeholders; ensure stakeholders’ engagement is supported across departments and offices\nSupport CDE projects and other Firm initiatives as needed\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in a related field. Advanced degree preferred.\nSkills and Experience\nRequired\n5-8 years of relevant experience managing complex projects and teams.\nExperience cultivating and managing client relationships\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a highly competitive and demanding environment\nCreative and innovative thinker, generating ideas that create value and improve processes\nAbility to interact well and cultivate professional relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service, diplomacy and discretion\nStrong attention to detail\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent research and analytical abilities\nAbility to assess needs, assign priorities, develop strategies and make recommendations when presented with ambiguous or incomplete information\nStrong project management and organizational skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment\nAbility to effectively share knowledge and resources with appropriate parties, both internally and externally\nAbility to anticipate business challenges of stakeholders and senior team members and proactively address needs with self-assuredness and business acumen\nProficiency in MS Office Suite, web-based research, and various AI tools\nMust be flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed\nPreferred\nPrior experience in marketing and business development field at a law firm supporting litigation, enforcement or regulatory practices\nSome familiarity with experience management databases such as Content Pilot or Foundation\nExperience with website maintenance and/or Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems\nSome experience with Bloomberg Law, Westlaw, Docket Navigator, or similar tracking tools preferred\nSalary Information\nWashington, DC Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000 at the time of posting.\nThe actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
