We are a specialized, distributed team of seven professionals looking to add a key Python Developer to our core engineering group. This is a rare opportunity to enter a well-capitalized firm at an early stage, working directly with our head developer to build and scale critical trading infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems primarily using Python. Collaborate with a small, elite team of developers and researchers across the US and UK to optimize trading performance. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from initial architectural design to deployment and monitoring. Implement high-efficiency data processing tools and integrate them with core financial systems. Participate in a rigorous technical environment where code quality and system reliability are paramount. RequirementsExpert-level proficiency in Python development within a professional or production environment. Proven experience building complex, high-availability software systems. Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team structure. Strong analytical mindset and the ability to solve intricate technical challenges with minimal supervision. Willingness to undergo a comprehensive evaluation process, including a one-week paid work trial. Preferred QualificationsBackground in financial services, specifically within hedge funds, proprietary trading, or quantitative finance. Experience with low-latency data processing or large-scale financial datasets. Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field. Compensation & BenefitsTotal Compensation: $250,000 – $350,000 (Base + Performance Bonus). Higher-end compensation packages are heavily weighted toward performance-based bonuses.
