Surgery Coordinator/Verifier/Front Office Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and assist in the smooth operation of our office. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials Perform other receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing Collect co-payments from patients Insurance verification Check-in/check-out patients Request prior authorizations Scheduling surgeries Should understand deductibles, co-insurance and out of pocket Requirements Knowledge of medical insurances Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills Proficiency in computerized systems for office tasks Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Experience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred) Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Huntington Beach, CA 92647 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Huntington Beach, CA 92647: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
