This is an opportunity to develop your career and grow your skills in a high intensity, team-based environment, and become a part of the BAE Systems Security program, a highly recognized and awarded team in the Electronic Solutions Business Sector.\n\nAs a Senior Security Specialist, you will work under the general guidance and direction of the Facility Security Officer (FSO), all levels of leadership, and both internal and external customers to support a variety of interesting and dynamic programs. This role provides onsite support for the site’s collateral security program.\n\nDevelops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified/proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.\n\nTasks include, but are not limited to:\nEnforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program personnel\nInterface with program managers and team members ensuring daily security needs are addressed\nProvide prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254’s and security guidance\nDevelop and revise program level security plans, procedures and instructions\nProvide classification guidance to employees, develop and provide security education and awareness training, and conduct security briefings\nParticipate in security self-inspection teams and audits, and investigate security incidents\nSupport other security disciplines with the collateral and SAP program to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance (IA), Communications Security (COMSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Document Control and Visitor Control\nInterpret government and internal company policies, develop, and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the new 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) as well as any other specific programmatic instruction manuals\nResponsible for reviewing, drafting, and ensuring compliance for all collateral DD254s\nAssist with international requirements to include government to government shipments, foreign visitor requirements, and Export Control compliance\nProvide support as necessary during emergencies\nConduct combination changes, facility checks and alarm response, and also provide occasional lobby coverage\nAssist with facility construction and continued accreditation requirements\nProvide security guidance to company personnel\nConduct security clearance indoctrination briefings and debriefings as necessary\nConduct investigations and interviews of non‐compliance matters and issues relating to security violations\nParticipate as a team member in misc. groups (e.g., Site Leadership Team, Insider Threat Local Counsel, etc.)\nCompletes appropriate documentation according to company and government directives\nAssist with security reviews to include Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) visits, formal self-inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits (internal audits) of other BAE Systems facilities\nSupport the site’s Information Security (INFOSEC) office with document control and document accountability\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\n\nAn active Secret Security Clearance with Top Secret Clearance eligibility with 4 or more years of relevant security experience to the position\nNational Industrial Security Program (NISP) experience\nHigh level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills, and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment\nCustomer focused, excellent communicator, and ability to work with limited supervision\nStrong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)\nMinimum of a high school diploma\n\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills\n\nPrevious experience with DISS, NISS, and SIMS\nPrevious experience with alarm systems\nFacility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certificate (via CDSE)\nTop Secret security clearance eligibility\n\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723\n\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
