You bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and business outcomes, equally comfortable whiteboarding architecture with a data engineering team and presenting ROI to a CFO. You own the technical win.\nResponsibilities\nLead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements with enterprise customers across all industries\nTranslate complex business requirements into architectures leveraging the Snowflake Data Cloud (data engineering, data science/AI/ML, data sharing, applications, and security/governance)\nDeliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops to audiences ranging from individual contributors to C-suite executives\nPartner with Account Executives to drive pipeline, accelerate deals, and close business\nServe as the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering teams\nBuild and maintain reusable assets: demo environments, reference architectures, and solution accelerators\nStay current on competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging capabilities across the data & AI ecosystem\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience spanning multiple disciplines: data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, software development, cloud architecture, or technical consulting\nDemonstrated ability to design end-to-end data platforms (ingestion, transformation,\norchestration, serving, governance)\nHands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala)\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tooling (dbt, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, or equivalent)\nProven track record of delivering technical solutions in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting capacity\nExceptional communication skills — can articulate deeply technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and hold credibility with engineering teams simultaneously\nExperience engaging with executive leadership (CTO, CDO, CIO, CFO) on business strategy and technology roadmap discussions\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI/ML workflows: model training, LLMs, RAG architectures, MLOps, feature engineering\nBackground in software engineering — building production applications, APIs, CI/CD pipelines\nPrior consulting experience (Big 4, boutique, or internal) with demonstrated ability to scope, plan, and deliver complex technical programs\nFamiliarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and security best practices\nExperience with Snowflake or competing platforms (Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)\nIndustry domain expertise (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Media, or Public Sector)\nWhat Sets You Apart\nYou've been the \"full-stack\" technical person — not limited to one tool, one layer, or one audience\nYou thrive in ambiguity: scoping a problem, building conviction, and driving a customer to a decision\nYou combine technical depth with business acumen — understanding not just how to build, but why it matters\nYou have a builder's mindset: if a demo doesn't exist, you create it; if a gap exists, you close it\nEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
