Join Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC today.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nThe Web Developer will support Barrow Wise's NSF project and perform the following duties:\r\nSupport the NSF Web Team, which drafts and posts all external content on NSF.gov and manages internal content on the NSF Employee Portal.\r\nRespond to publishing and editing requests from NSF staff, creating webpages, news and event items, official funding and guidance documents, and other content using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS), ServiceNow Employee Center, and Microsoft SharePoint.\r\nCreate clear, compelling webpage layouts that conform to web design best practices, WCAG 2.0/Section 508 requirements, and federal plain language requirements.\r\nFormat and upload PDFs, images, and other files to the website.\r\nProvide timely, high-quality customer support to NSF staff, handling requests and inquiries, resolving issues, and tracking all requests/inquiries within the NSF Web Team ticketing system (built in ServiceNow and Microsoft Lists). Monitor ticket dashboards to ensure tickets are prioritized, annotated, and completed.\r\nAdvise NSF staff on web design best practices, including consistent and clear layouts, 508 compliance, and the use of visuals to enhance engagement and understanding.\r\nParticipate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned by OLPA staff.\r\nPerform duties in Alexandria, VA\r\nAn ideal candidate has the following\r\nU.S. Citizenship\r\nBachelor's Degree and five years of experience\r\nFive years of professional, expert-level experience in web development and web design services with the federal government or academia.\r\nProvide three website samples.\r\nExpert-level experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\r\nExpert-level experience leading small teams to perform web development services.\r\nExperience with 508 compliance.\r\nJoin the team at Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC, for a fulfilling and engaging experience!
