Security Officer POLICE ONLY

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Security Officer will utilize various security measures, including CCTV monitoring and conflict management techniques, to ensure the safety of the premises. *Responsibilities* - Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. - Operate and maintain CCTV systems for effective surveillance of the premises. - Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. - Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. - Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns. - Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. - Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review. - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies. *Requirements* - Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. - Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential. - Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. - Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. - Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential threats. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties and respond quickly to incidents.
