The role is located in Hayward.\n\nThe engineer will participate in all facets of medical device engineering, supporting a full range of activities such as: bench testing new product development, sustaining current product lines, verification and validation, and process improvement activities.\n\nThe engineer will work closely with a cross-functional team to support existing product and new product development. Products developed are done so in accordance with the Quality Management System and company objectives and timelines.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nSupport senior members of the engineering team in benchtesting new product development\n\nDesign verification test methods, test fixtures, and execute verification test methods.\n\nCompile test data, perform statistical analysis, and document results in reports.\n\nContribute to the design of new products, including developing CAD models, drawings, and specifications.\n\nBuild prototypes and solve problems.\n\nInteract with physicians and nurses at clinical sites to support clinical studies and/or product evaluations.\n\nPreferred Qualifications and Work Experience:\n\nBe familiar with medical device development life cycles and manufacturing processes and technologies.\n\n3D Modeling experience along with 2D dimensioning and tolerancing.\n\nProficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
