We have the position below.Position: SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Functional ConsultantLocation: Hybrid2 times travel to ArkansasAn SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Functional Consultant configures and implements SAP modules to help organizations manage regulatory compliance, occupational health, product safety, and risk mitigation. They translate complex business requirements into technical solutions within SAP.Key Modules and Responsibilities:The role bridges information technology and workplace safety/environmental sustainability.Core responsibilities include:Product Safety: Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS), global label management, and hazardous material tracking.Industrial Hygiene: Tracking employee exposure to workplace hazards and managing medical surveillance.Dangerous Goods Management: Classifying materials and ensuring compliant logistics during transport.Waste Management: Tracking and reporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste generation, disposal, and recycling.Compliance & Integration: Aligning data with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing modules to prevent regulatory violations.Day-to-Day TasksConsultants typically handle full-lifecycle implementations from blueprinting to hyper-care support.Typical duties include:Fit-Gap Analysis: Leading workshops to map current business processes to SAP standard features.System Configuration: Building and testing specification databases, dangerous goods checks, and report templates.Cross-Module Integration: Ensuring EHS data flows seamlessly into SAP Materials Management (MM) or Sales and Distribution (SD).Data Migration: Creating strategies to load legacy compliance data into the SAP system.
