Farm Activities CoordinatorWe are seeking a Farm Activities Coordinator to support a unique, mission-driven program that combines hands-on farm work with meaningful engagement for adults with developmental disabilities. This role blends agriculture, animal care, and activity leadership, creating a dynamic and rewarding work environment year-round.From April through October, the role is primarily focused on vegetable/plant farming and outdoor work. During the winter months, the focus shifts toward structured, activity-based programming.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with vegetable farming operations, including planting, weeding, harvesting, and general crop careSupport the care and well-being of small to medium farm animals (e.g., goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs)Help create and lead engaging activities and programming tailored to individuals' interests and abilitiesFoster a safe, inclusive, and person-centered environment that supports individual goals and dignityAssist with maintaining farm grounds, supplies, and activity materialsCollaborate with staff and leadership to ensure high-quality programming and careWhat Makes This Role UniqueCombines farming, animal care, and human services in one roleOpportunity to make a direct, meaningful impact on individuals' daily livesSeasonal variety: outdoor farm work in warmer months + creative programming in winterCompensation & BenefitsThis is a part-time (24 hours/week), fully benefited position, which is rare for farm-based roles.
