We're extremely passionate about the quality of our work.\nResponsibilities:\nPre-Sales Responsibilities:\nPartnering with the Corporate Sales team nationally\nIdentifying customer business requirements and matching them to product features\nBuilding joint customer strategies with sales, support and field services to encourage product adoption\nProviding live demonstrations of the GitHub Enterprise platform to prospective business customers\nAnswering GitHub product questions and helping customers and prospects to take full advantage of the GitHub product\nAnswering GitHub technical questions and helping customers integrate GitHub with their existing development tools and workflows\nBuilding relationships with key decision makers and serving as a customer's technical point of contact\nEducating prospects on product implementation and usage\nUnderstanding customer environments including DevOps pipelines, code deployment options and network infrastructure\nLearning about customers' successes and challenges, sharing customer feedback within GitHub, and advocating for customer interests\nMaintaining awareness of internal GitHub initiatives, the direction of the Source Control Management (SCM) industry, and trends in global developer collaboration tools and techniques\nContributing to internal and customer documentation\nPost-Sales Responsibilities:\nActing as intermediary between sales and other technical teams to best meet customer needs\nCommunicating customer feedback and perspectives to appropriate teams to be considered in product strategy\nDocumenting technical considerations, collecting existing articles, and contributing to internal knowledge bases as a resource for other teams, customers, and partners\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent experience\n2+ years of experience in customer-facing pre or post sales solutions engineering, technical consulting, DevSecOps, or other related roles\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDomain knowledge in one or more of the following:\nSource Control Management (SCM) including Git & GitHub workflows, and the value of DevOps & DevSecOps\nContinuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture, tools and workflows\nDevSecOps, including software composition and security analysis, SAST/DAST tooling, and common patterns & industry trends\nArtificial Intelligence’s impact on the developer tools space\nCompensation Range: The base salary range for this job is USD $52,500.00 - USD $139,230.00 /Yr.\n\nIn addition, this role also has the opportunity to earn sales incentives. On target earnings (OTE) is based on a 70/30 base salary/sales incentive.\n\nThese pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant.
