Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (RN - PICU)Location: Albany, NYDuration: 8+ Weeks with possible extensionPay Range: $65 - $70/hrWe are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.Schedule Notes:Work Hours: 36 hours per weekShift Timing: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PMDays OnlyJob Summary:Seeking an experienced Travel PICU RN with a strong background in CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with critically ill pediatric patients and managing high-acuity cardiac conditions. Epic EMR experience is REQUIRED. This is a fast-paced, high-tech unit in a large academic hospital.Responsibilities:Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patientsManage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medicationsProvide postoperative care for pediatric cardiac and surgical patientsCollaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate documentation using Epic EMREnsure strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocolsSkills & Requirements:Certifications:BLS (AHA) - RequiredPALS (AHA) - RequiredExperience:Minimum 2 years of RN experience - RequiredCVICU experience - REQUIREDPediatric ICU experience - Strongly PreferredEpic EMR Experience - REQUIREDEducation:Graduate of an accredited nursing program - RequiredBSN - Preferred
