Job Title: Senior Property AccountantEmployment Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $75,000 to $100,000 per year, plus benefitsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to manage the full cycle accounting for a portfolio of multi-family residential highrise properties. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, deep multi-family industry knowledge, and proficiency in Yardi.ResponsibilitiesManage full cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of multi-family propertiesPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and maintain the general ledgerLead month end and year end close processesPrepare CAM reconciliations, budget variance analysis, and cash flow reportsReview and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsAssist with annual budget preparation and reforecastingPartner with property managers and asset managers on operational and financial mattersSupport external audits and tax preparationEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of property accounting experienceMulti family property accounting experience requiredProficiency in Yardi requiredStrong working knowledge of GAAPAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Yardi VoyagerExperience managing a large or growing portfolioCompensation and BenefitsSalary up to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysProfessional development supportEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
