Our Team. Our Passion. Our Approach.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nDesigns, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products. (This may include developing software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, utilities, databases, cloud-based and internet-related tools.) This position is for an experienced developer who will aid in developing new features of the Advanced Design Menu (ADM an in-house tool used in Inventor), as well as other new tools for the engineering department. Along with developing new tools they will develop training documents to allow the engineering department to easily know how to use the new tools. They will also test existing tools/processes to develop new or more efficient ways to complete engineering tasks.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop automation projects.\nContribute to the successful execution of projects through designing, coding, order entry, testing, and documentation activities.\nImplement completed solutions.\nParticipate in projects for new product development.\nWrite technical documentation to support project activities including functional specifications, interface specifications, and user documentation.\nCommunicate and facilitate conversation with customers at a technical and professional level.\nConvey to the end user all product application information specific to the project.\nUpdate and tailor Customer distribution and logistics software to meet customer requirements.\nIdentify gaps in specifications and capability to “connect the dots” while on a deadline.\nWork with key business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement software according to business needs.\nDevelop iLogic and/or IVB code used in ADM.\nDevelop new tools to be used by engineering.\nTrouble shoot existing ADM code.\nAid in training of engineering tools and processes.\nDevelop ADM workflows for automation of engineering process.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nAssociates Degree in an engineering related area\nSolid communication skills for meetings in-person and virtual meetings\nExcellent testing and troubleshooting skills\nC# and/or Angular development experience\nDisciplined source control practices\nDatabase design and SQL experience\nAbility to learn both through training and exploration\nAutodesk Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD\nAn understanding of iLogic and IVB coding\nUnderstanding of Visual Basic programming\nParametric Modeling\nHorizontal-Style Modeling\nAbility to understand full workflow intent\nOral and Written Communications.\nAdvanced knowledge of preparing and delivering presentations; excellent written capabilities\nThe base salary range for this role is $76,100 to $114,200. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance\nWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
