We are looking for a SQL Server Database Engineer to provide database platform-level support for MS SQL Server environments.\nJob Responsibilities\nProvide database platform-level support for MS SQL Server environments.\nManage databases at the infrastructure level, including patching, upgrades, and participation in DR exercises.\nMonitor and troubleshoot SQL Server systems, quickly resolving infrastructure and production issues.\nEstablish and maintain high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) solutions using technologies such as Always On and Mirroring.\nCoordinate and resolve database access requests, incidents, and compliance remediation tasks.\nAnalyze and report on database operational performance against key metrics.\nImplement and maintain SQL maintenance jobs and backup/recovery strategies.\nParticipate in database cloud migration (Azure PaaS & IaaS) initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n7+ years of experience with SQL Server Technologies.\n3+ years working specifically with MS SQL Server 2016 and 2017.\nSolid experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing database systems.\nExperience supporting databases in production and non-production environments, including resolving deadlocks, blocking, memory, CPU, and I/O issues.\nProficient in configuring and maintaining HADR solutions (Always On, Mirroring, Replication).\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud migration for databases.\nStrong analytical and incident management skills in complex SQL Server environments.\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nExperience managing databases ranging from 10GB to 5TB (VLDB).\nFamiliarity with database diagnostic and compliance management tools.\nExposure to capacity planning and automation of DBA activities.\nEducation Required:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\nAgreeYa is a global systems integrator delivering competitive advantage for its customers through software, solutions, and services.
