This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and internal controls , while partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence and business growth. This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership experience, and a passion for building high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering meaningful financial insight.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCorporate Financial Reporting\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for corporate entities and consolidated financial statements\nDeliver timely, accurate financial reporting to leadership, lenders, and key stakeholders\nReview financial results, analyze unusual activity, and ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting policies\nOversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting support\nAccounts Payable Leadership\nOversee the full AP function, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, vendor payments, accruals, and reconciliations\nStrengthen controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties\nDrive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy\nPayroll Oversight\nLead accurate, timely payroll processing for multi-state employee populations\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations\nPartner with Human Resources on benefits, deductions, onboarding, and terminations\nOversee payroll accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls\nTreasury & Cash Management\nManage cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity forecasting, and funding activity\nMonitor cash positions, funding needs, and compliance requirements\nIdentify risks early and recommend practical solutions\nSupport debt administration and lender coordination as needed\nInternal Controls & Compliance\nMaintain a strong control environment across AP, payroll, treasury, and reporting\nRecommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and governance\nSupport annual audit and tax reporting activities\nLeadership & Business Partnership\nLead, coach, and develop teams across Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury\nBuild a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement\nPartner with Asset Management, Human Resources, Tax, and executive leadership\nCommunicate proactively, escalate risks early, and provide actionable financial recommendations\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\nCPA required, MBA is a plus\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience\n3–5+ years of leadership experience overseeing accounting, AP, payroll, or treasury teams\nDemonstrated success managing Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury functions\nExperience with multi-entity consolidations preferred\nReal estate industry experience preferred\nAdvanced knowledge of GAAP , financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll compliance, and cash management\nStrong Excel skills and experience with AP automation, payroll systems, and banking/treasury platforms\nProven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and influence across departments\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who combines technical strength, operational discipline, and people leadership with a forward-thinking, improvement-oriented mindset.
