We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to formulate programming and interact with operators and sales to optimize processes. A Qualified candidate is someone driven to make improvements, self-motivated, curious, flexible and collaborates well with others.\n\nJob Summary\n\nPrimary responsibilities will include, but not limited to setting up master programs for customer jobs (etching, marking, engraving, etc. for a wide variety of materials); identifying and troubleshooting CAD software problems; continuous improvement and development of CAD process and automatic processes by applying new techniques available through CAD software; proactively interacts with other departments to develop feedback look for process efficiency.\n\nRead technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints\nUse computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly\nPerform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications\nAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality\nConsider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly\nTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise\nPerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening\nTrain new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious experience working in a manufacturing setting is required\nMust have strong attention to detail\nExtensive CNC programming knowledge\nSolidWorks\nAutoCAD\nDWG, DXF files\nBonus: CorelDRAW\nExperience with E2 software or similar job tracking software\nSkilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise\nAbility to work independently and closely follow directions is essential\nAbility to work collaboratively with co-workers to resolve issues\nPositive and professional attitude\nCapable of standing for extended periods of time\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time\n\nHours: 7am-3:30pm with occasional overtime\n\nReports to: Production Supervisor\n\nDisclaimer\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
