This position assists with maintaining the property, equipment, guest rooms, and building systems in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.\nThe Engineering Supervisor will help coordinate daily maintenance activities, respond to engineering service requests, assist with preventive maintenance, and provide support and direction to Engineering team members.\nThis is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed. The Engineering Supervisor must be willing to work overtime when needed to support the Engineering Department and ensure operational needs are met.\n\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport the Director of Engineering with the daily operations of the Engineering Department.\nAssist in supervising, directing, and supporting Engineering team members.\nAssign and prioritize maintenance and engineering work as needed.\nRespond promptly to guest room and property maintenance requests.\nPerform preventive maintenance and basic repairs throughout the property.\nInspect equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and building systems and report issues requiring attention.\nAssist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance issues.\nEnsure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.\nMonitor and document parts, supplies, tools, and equipment used by the Engineering Department.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe engineering work areas.\nRespond promptly to emergencies, equipment failures, safety concerns, and other urgent maintenance needs.\nCommunicate maintenance issues and operational concerns to the Director of Engineering.\nAssist with training and coaching Engineering staff on proper procedures and safe work practices.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.\nProvide professional and courteous service to guests and hotel associates.\nAssist with special projects and other duties assigned by the Director of Engineering or management.\nSCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS\nFull-time position\nMust be available to work weekends and holidays as needed\nMust have flexible availability to accommodate business and operational needs\nMust be willing to work overtime when necessary\nMay be required to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, or other hours based on department needs\nQUALIFICATIONS\nPrevious hotel engineering, maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred.\nPrevious supervisory or lead experience preferred.\nStrong knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs.\nAbility to troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and maintenance issues.\nAbility to prioritize work and respond effectively to emergencies.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently while also supporting and directing a team.\nProfessional attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.\nAbility to safely lift, carry, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, and perform other physical tasks associated with maintenance work.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible as operational needs change.\nValid driver's license may be required depending on property requirements.\n\nThis position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for helping ensure the Engineering Department operates effectively and provides timely support to the property, guests, and hotel associates.\n\nThe Company reserves the right to modify duties and responsibilities based on operational needs.
