The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling complex aerostructure parts, systems, and sub-assemblies while ensuring the highest quality standards and strict adherence to safety protocols.\nResponsibilities:\nAssemble and install mechanical parts and systems for aircraft according to detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\nConduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all components and assemblies meet required standards.\nTroubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nCollaborate with team members to improve assembly processes.\nOther duties as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or academic equivalent.\n1+ years of proven experience as a mechanical assembler or similar role; preferably in aviation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.\nAerostructure assembly certification from an authorized training center or vocational school.\nTechnical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly.\nExperience with various hand and power tools.\nComprehensive knowledge of aviation industry safety protocols and quality standards.\nExcellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and a strong attention to detail.\nPhysical Demands: This role requires the ability to perform a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, and working in various positions for extended periods. The ability to lift and handle materials, as well as to climb, balance, kneel, bend, and crouch, is required to access work areas and perform tasks.
