We've built our reputation on innovation and reliable service, and we're known as the industry's experts.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly technical Controller to join our Accounting team. The Controller will execute and manage accounting operations, including the financial close process, payroll processes. internal and external reporting, annual audit, and detailed financial analyses. This role is an in-person role based in any of our Dallas, Oklahoma City, or Tulsa offices.\nPreference will be given to candidates with direct experience working with a construction or project-based company with at least 100-200 employees and complex inventory considerations.\nMain Responsibilities\nExecute monthly close function and reduce processing time.\nOversee transition from Cash to Accrual-based Accounting and ensure seamless data transition.\nCalculate complex revenue recognition functions for projects and inventory.\nPrepare various high level financial reports and forecasts for review by VP of Finance- such as EBITDA metrics and cash flow forecasts - and identify key areas for focus and further analysis.\nEducate and enforce GAAP and ASC 805 principles across the Accounting department.\nEffectively delegate essential Accounting functions to members of department, and ensure accurate processing of payroll, monthly close, expenses, AR and AP.\nRequirements\nPrior technical accounting experience - either through public, audit/assurance, or complex operational accounting\nPlatform experience with: ADP, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, CRM, Microsoft Suite\nAbility to create Excel and other data models such as V lookups, pivot tables, etc.\nExperience applying GAAP standards, including complex accounting pronouncements, including ASC 805 (business combinations)\nMust be intensely self- managing, well organized and a self-starter\nDetail oriented, professional, reliable attitude\nAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing\nPreferred: experience with construction/project based company with complex inventory considerations\nPreferred: prior experience supervising others\nWhat Digi Offers\n2 weeks vacation accrued in first year, 3 weeks vacation accrual per year after first year.\n7 company wide paid holidays throughout the year.\nFull health benefits and 401k plan with matching.\nIncluded life and long term disability insurance.\nAmple training and professional development opportunities.\nTechnology and employee provisions.\nPerformance based bonus opportunities.\nDisclaimer: This list of job responsibilities is not all-encompassing and this job description is not a binding document.
