Receives and issues raw material to and from saws, trucks and storage area by operation of an overhead crane. Primary focus would be working on the robotic welder and fabrication of products utilizing other CNC machines. This would include programming, machine setup, operation and adjustment of process variables to meet quality demands.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.\r\nLifts work piece manually or using hoist and secures work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.\r\nCalculates and sets controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.\r\nStarts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.\r\nInspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.\r\nMoves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.\r\nUnload welded parts from robotic welder and place on appropriate containers.\r\nRemove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.\r\nChip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.\r\nMaintains accurate counts of parts; attaches labels or tags to finished part containers identifying customer, part number, quantity and shop order information.\r\nMaintains company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.\r\nReads job specifications (e.g. blueprints) to determine type of welding and material requirements.\r\nExamines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications according to operator inspection sheet, quality control plans and/or customer notes using instruments such as gauges.\r\nReports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Crew Leader.\r\nMaintains cleanliness of work area and equipment and follows safety regulations.\r\nAdditional duties may be assigned as required.\r\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :\r\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
