Other duties may be assigned.\n\nContinuous improvement of quality of data in SAP\n\nContinuous improvement of Variant Configuration quality\n\nImplement improvements in VC design at Haas\n\nPublish Processes, Procedures, and Standards to add or change Variant Configuration objects.\n\nDebug a wide area of the system including; materials, BOM items, configurable BOMs, front end clamping, routings, assignments, and testing methods.\n\nAssist with Streamlining business processes.\n\nMaster both functional and technical aspects of the SAP Platform at Haas.\n\nAccuracy of machine variant configurations and the Master Schedule.\n\nInsures that master data driving all business processes integrate with no conflict into a single company-wide business system.\n\nAssist in establishing the ongoing strategy for Variant Configuration throughout the company. Implement the Token structure for existing and new materials. Analyze, correct, create and change Characteristics, Configuration Profiles, Object Dependencies and all duties associated with Classification for the global Haas enterprise\n\nThe VC team is responsible for processing high level ERs, defining manufacturing planning and deciding how the company will market and sell its products. Before the VC team starts any programming, they will create a PDF (Product definition form) and have it signed off by the Director of Sales or General Manager or the President. Once the PDF is approved, the VC team will start the physical programming (including the use of tokens).\n\nThe VC team is responsible for defining the BOM structure, the planning process and the method that we will sell and market our products to our customers. They will publish the BOM structure and get a sign off from the Engineering Department.\n\nThe VC team also participates in the maintenance of the Master Schedule, creating and configuring new variants, modifying and validating existing variants, and ensuring the master schedule conforms with management directives.\n\nProvide user support and troubleshoot issues with configuration management software. Monitor configuration management processes.
