{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"bda92c76fb9e6ea09df6f423","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bda92c76fb9e6ea09df6f423","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bda92c76fb9e6ea09df6f423","title":"Structural Engineer PE","description":"Job Description\nExperience: Senior Level\n\nSalary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year\n\nLocation: Delray Beach, FL, US\n\nJob Details:\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nOversee a variety of structural design, renovation, and inspection projects for various applications: new construction, design build, renovations, adaptive reuse, etc.\n\nOversee structural design & analysis of building structural systems for a variety of markets: commercial, institutional, educational, public‑sector, and industrial facilities.\n\nDesign, detailing, and analysis of structures for low‑rise & mid‑rise buildings with a variety of materials (concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and cold‑form steel).\n\nOversee the preparation of calculations and drawings for reports.\n\nDevelop finite element models for the analysis of complex structures.\n\nPerform field‑oriented tasks (investigations, site visits, threshold inspections, condition assessments, etc.) and develop corresponding site visit reports.\n\nWork directly with clients to foster positive relationships and maintain base business accounts.\n\nAdditional tasks may be assigned as needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\nManage projects with little to no oversight.\n\nExperience in working with multidisciplinary projects.\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering with structural discipline emphasis.\n\n8+ years of professional experience working in structural engineering.\n\nActive P.E. license in Florida.\n\nPossessing some of their own base‑business accounts is a requirement.\n\nProficiency with engineering/CADD/BIM tools; experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a requirement.\n\nWorking knowledge of structural analysis software; experience with RAM (especially Structural Systems and/or Elements), STAAD, ENERCALC, and/or Mathcad are preferred.\n\nProficiency in all standard Microsoft Office software applications.\n\nStrong analytical skills.\n\nExperience working with the design and analysis of a variety of structural systems / complex projects; experience with nonlinear structural analysis is a plus.\n\nAbout Us\nThis company is well known for a long‑standing reputation of quality work and large‑scale projects over the last sixty years.
