Additionally, the developer will be expected to support peers, follow standards, and make technical recommendations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.\nPerform in an independent capacity and set a strong example for other database developers.\nResponsible for the development and management of Enterprise Data Warehouse / Data Lake processes and policies, following strategic direction on best practices for holistic Data Architecture.\nDesign, develop, and implement MS SQL Server SSIS ETL jobs to effectively process high-volume data sources and meet nightly processing windows.\nConduct analysis and design of data models for the development and maintenance of existing enterprise systems.\nMonitors industry trends and directions and develops and presents substantive technical recommendations to management.\nWork with users to define, implement and automate data warehouse requirements based on Microsoft SQL BI Stack.\nBuild data structures, functions and views for source data integration, data management, and consumption by other systems\nAbility to communicate data modeling and process flow concepts, while tailoring solutions to business requirements\nAbility to interpret business logic and develop appropriate dataflows and data dependencies\nUnderstand and design system integration as required for extracting data for reporting purposes\nAbility to work with and communicate with a team of Developers/Analysts and non-technical Business Stakeholders.\nDesign databases and ensure stability, reliability, and performance.\nDevelop, test, and maintain Microsoft SQL database objects for USRC software.\nRefactor existing database objects to support enhancements of system control, diagnostic and other research subject areas.\nInvestigate and support new technology initiatives to improve or enhance current database capabilities.\nPrepare documentations for database applications and ETL processing.\nLearn new applicable programming techniques as needed.\nWork with other database personnel, front end programmers and customer support as needed.\nBe available, as needed, should critical software issues arise.\nWrite documentation and SOPs for future use.\nRequirements:\nQualifications/Requirements:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nRequirements include:\n5+ years of experience working with data in a healthcare related field - Clinical and Billing a plus\n5+ years of experience writing reports against Microsoft SQL Server databases.\n2+ years of experience with a source control system (e.g., GIT, SVN, TFS, etc.)\nStrong knowledge and experience writing T-SQL queries and Stored Procedures (i.e., correlated sub queries, inline SQL....)\nExperience with\nSSIS,\nSSRS,\nTableau and other visualization tools,\nCreating and managing ETL processes\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business, or equivalent experience, preferred\nStrong ability to quickly understand complicated and highly normalized databases and reporting structures\nCritical thinking and analytical skills\n\nCompensation: $85,000 - $115,000 annually","company":"U.S. Renal Care","rawCompany":"us renal care","city":"Remote","state":"OR","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-05T01:27:21.233Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1243.01","title":"Data Warehousing Specialists","slug":"data-warehousing-specialists"},{"code":"15-1243.00","title":"Database Architects","slug":"database-architects"},{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Database Developer","description":"The Database Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining database software to meet functional, performance, and availability goals.
