Based\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nProcurement & Supplier Management\r\nManage the end to end procurement process across product lines, packaging and business critical materials.\r\nDevelop & maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, service levels and commercial agreements.\r\nMonitor supplier performance against agreed KPI's and implement improvement plans where required.\r\nIdentify cost saving opportunities and drive efficiencies throughout the procurement process.\r\nManage supplier risk and support business continuity planning.\r\nDemand Forecasting & Inventory Planning\r\nProduce accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, seasonal trends, marketing intelligence and business insights.\r\nWork closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to align forecasts with commercial objectives.\r\nManage inventory levels to maximise product availability while maintaining healthy stock levels.\r\nAnalyse forecast performance and implement improvements to increase forecast accuracy.\r\nLead inventory optimisation initiatives to minimise excess stock and reduce stock outs.\r\nSupport planning activities around promotions, product launches and seasonal demand fluctuations.\r\nCompliance, Governance & Risk Management\r\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.\r\nMaintain supplier compliance records, contracts, certifications and supporting documentation.\r\nMonitor supplier adherence to quality, ethical sourcing, safety and operational standards.\r\nSupport audits and maintain effective procurement controls.\r\nIdentify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks through proactive management and planning.\r\nPromote best practice governance and compliance across the procurement and inventory planning functions.\r\nSage 200 Management\r\nUtilise Sage 200 to manage procurement, inventory control, forecasting, reporting and stock management activities.\r\nMaintain accurate supplier, product pricing and inventory data.\r\nProduce meaningful management information and reports to support decision making.\r\nDrive process improvements and maximise the effective use of Sage 200 throughout the supply chain function.\r\nReporting and Analysis\r\nPrepare regular procurement, inventory, forecasting and compliance reports for senior management.\r\nMonitor and report on key performance indicators including: forecast accuracy, supplier performance, stock availability, inventory turns, service levels, cost savings, compliance measures.\r\nProvide recommendations and insights to support strategic planning and business growth.\r\nSkills & Experience Required\r\nMinimum 5 years' experience within procurement, supply chain, inventory management, demand planning or forecasting.\r\nAt least 2-3 years' experience operating as Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Demand Planning Manager or equivalent level.\r\nProven experience within consumer goods, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution sectors.\r\nStrong hands on experience in Sage 200 is essential.\r\nExperience in supplier negotiation, inventory optimisation and demand forecasting.\r\nStrong commercial awareness and analytical capability.\r\nAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large data sets.\r\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\r\nAbility to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver results in a fast paced environment.\r\nDesirable\r\nExperience of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).\r\nKnowledge of compliance, governance and supplier audit processes.\r\nExperience managing seasonal product forecasting and promotional planning.\r\nFamiliarity with international supply chains and importing products from overseas manufacturers.\r\nQualifications\r\nProven experience successfully managing procurement, inventory planning and demand forecasting.\r\nStrong practical experience of Sage 200.\r\nDegree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Logistics or Operations, or another related
