The Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program (PMA-262).\nFunctional Description:\nDuties will include, but are not limited to:\nPerforming systems engineering and technical analysis for avionics and communications subsystems on the MQ-4C Triton, a high-altitude, long-endurance maritime ISR platform.\nCandidate will review engineering artifacts, airworthiness documentation, and test data to evaluate system safety, integration, and compliance with U.S. Navy and Commonwealth of Australia requirements.\nSupporting the full systems engineering lifecycle for the MQ-4C Triton program will include coordinating technical reviews, facilitating engineering working groups, managing RFIs, and integrating engineering inputs into the Integrated Government Schedule to support development, production, integration, sustainment, and operational testing of the MQ-4C.\nServing as a technical liaison between U.S. Navy and Commonwealth of Australia airworthiness teams.\nSupport cooperative execution in accordance with the Airworthiness Qualification Plan (AQP), participate in configuration management activities, and ensure all engineering documentation meets disclosure and release requirements for allied operations.\nRequired Experience:\nAt least three (3)- ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft or weapons systems, consisting of the design, development, integration, and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.\nDemonstrated experience in NAVAIR Systems Engineering Process and Airworthiness is desired.\nKnowledge of system engineering principles, theories, and concepts and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative principles and concepts.\nDemonstrated knowledge of a wide range of non-engineering, non-scientific information in the form of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Military Standards, Department of the Navy (DON)/DOD/NAVAIR policies, directives, and instructions and ability to determine the applicability of these documents to assignments.\nAbility to work and coordinate with a variety of professional personnel associated with the assigned duties.\nExperience with Navy Unmanned Aviation platforms is desired.\n\nEducation: BS degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering\n\nDesired Experience: Master’s degree and Ten (10) years’ experience.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance preferred or ability to obtain.
