Each employee is essential to fulfilling our mission and achieving our vision through the hard work, dedication, and collaborative spirit.\nWe are currently seeking a Payment Processing Clerk to join our Accounting team.\nPosition Summary\nSupport the accounting department by timely opening and posting payment mail.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nOpen and sort company payment mail\nAccurately post and process payments to consumer accounts\nReconcile bank deposits\nProcess documents into proprietary company software system\nAssist with daily post office and bank visits\nAssist with various payment and client related tasks\nAssist with department projects as assigned by the accounting manager.\nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)\nAbility to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environment\nMinimum of two years' general office experience, high volume data entry preferred\nMinimum of two years' cash handling or bank teller experience\nEffective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage\nFamiliarity with NetSuite preferred\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research\nAbility to multi-task and manage time effectively\nAbility to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it\nAbility to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
