Our team creates meaningful learning adventures that help children build confidence, explore boldly, and find their roar.\nWe are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Learning Aides who are passionate about supporting children's growth and development while creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.\nPosition Summary\nThe Learning Aide provides daily classroom support by assisting the Lead Learning Guide with implementing engaging learning experiences, maintaining classroom routines, and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of every child. This position plays an important role in creating a positive environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to learn through exploration and play.\nEssential Job Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist with daily classroom routines and transitions.\nSupport children during learning activities, meals, toileting, diapering, rest time, and outdoor play.\nHelp create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.\nEncourage children's curiosity, creativity, independence, and social-emotional development through positive interactions.\nPrepare classroom materials and learning centers as directed.\nSupervise children and maintain active engagement throughout the day.\nMaintain classroom cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with licensing requirements.\nBuild positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.\nFollow all Maryland Office of Child Care regulations and The Learning Den policies.\nParticipate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.\nEducation & Experience\nCandidates must meet Maryland Office of Child Care qualifications for an Aide.\nExperience working with young children\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nCPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)\nPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\nCareer Growth\nAt The Learning Den, we believe in investing in our people.
