CODA is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Residential Aides at our Gresham Recovery Center.\nPosition: Residential Aide\nLocation: Gresham Recovery Center\nCompany: CODA, Inc.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:\nMonitor the behavior and location of patients, completing routine documentation and recording unusual or concerning behaviors that should be addressed by the clinical team.\nRespond to emergencies and patient medical needs per site procedures.\nMonitor patients’ activities throughout the shift, adhering to the schedule and structured activities.\nAssist with planned and approved patient outings, providing transportation and ensuring program rules are followed during outings while serving as a positive role model for community-oriented behavior.\nPerform security procedures such as conducting and documenting searches of patient rooms, patient property, and personal possessions. Perform safety and security checks of the grounds regularly. Ensure contraband and disallowed items are not present in the facility.\nAssist patient with self-administration of medications per established procedures, including accurately recording all medication activities in the medication record.\nPerform and observe urine toxicology specimen collection following program procedures including strict adherence to protocols for testing same or differing genders.\nAssure chain of custody compliance prior to submission for testing.\nRecord notes in daily shift log for each patient in accordance with standard clinical procedures. Provide timely and accurate clinical documentation regarding UA results, Breathalyzer, etc. in compliance with agency and regulatory standards, input data into electronic medical record.\nAssist with house cleaning as needed and maintain cleaning supplies.\nComplete shift change, including counting controlled medications and providing information to the next shift about any unusual events, abnormal behaviors of patients, and special notes necessary for them to understand the condition of the patients and program.\nAnswer phones in a professional manner; complete filing; assist visitors as needed.
