This role oversees day-to-day field operations, coaches and develops technicians, and ensures jobs are completed safely, on time, and to our company standards. In addition to field leadership, this role plays a key part in booking installs, pulling permits, scheduling inspections, conducting QA calls, and collecting payments. You will partner closely with the Install Coordinator and leadership team to drive productivity and support a seamless operation from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesTeamLeadership & Field OversightSupervise and support plumbing installation technicians in the fieldProvide on-the-job coaching, training, and constructive performance feedbackConduct ride-alongs, job site visits, and quality inspectionsEnsure adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and local codesAssist with hiring, onboarding, and developing installation team membersScheduling, Permitting & Job CoordinationBook and schedule installation appointments to ensure efficient workflow and technician utilizationPull required permits for installations in accordance with local codes and regulationsSchedule and coordinate inspections with the appropriate jurisdictionsEnsure all permitting and inspection requirements are completed accurately and on timeOperational ExecutionOversee daily install schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet demandEnsure jobs are properly set up with the correct materials, equipment, and scopeTroubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installationsMonitor job timelines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accuratelyQuality Control & Customer ExperienceConduct QA calls to verify job quality, customer satisfaction, and identify any follow-up needsEnsure all installations meet our quality standards and customer expectationsStep in to resolve escalated customer concerns or complex job issuesPromote a customer-first mindset across the install teamVerify job completion, accuracy, and overall customer satisfactionPayments & Administrative DutiesCollect and process payments upon job completionEnsure payment collection is accurate and documented in accordance with company proceduresCommunicate any payment discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members promptlyCustomer Education & Revenue SupportHelp technicians clearly communicate options and solutions so customers can make informed decisionsReinforce honest, customer-first best practices in the fieldAssist with larger or more complex installation opportunities when neededHelp the team deliver full value on every job through quality and thoroughnessPerformance & ReportingTrack and report on key metrics including job completion rates, callbacks, and quality scoresIdentify trends and areas for improvement in team performancePartner with leadership on forecasting, capacity planning, and operational goalsWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in plumbing or home services, with installation experience requiredLeadership or supervisory experience preferred — strong lead technicians ready to take the next step are encouraged to applyExperience with permitting processes and scheduling inspections strongly preferredSolid knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and troubleshootingStrong communication and coaching skillsAbility to balance team leadership, field operations, and administrative responsibilitiesComfortable using technology such as dispatch systems, CRM platforms, and mobile toolsPreferred (Nice to Have)Licensed plumber in the state of WashingtonExperience with ServiceTitan or similar field service platformsBackground in a performance-driven residential or commercial service environmentYou Will Thrive Here If You Are...A hands-on leader who leads by example and earns respect on the job siteDecisive and solution-oriented when things do not go as plannedSomeone who holds yourself and your team accountable without micromanagingEqually focused on quality work and getting the job done efficientlyComfortable wearing multiple hats across leadership, coordination, and administrative dutiesPassionate about building a high-performing team and developing the people around youPowered by JazzHRFcHcRM11dn
