This position is responsible for overseeing the flow of all incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accuracy through our bar code system, and upholding warehouse standards. Beyond day-to-day operations, the Supervisor, Warehouse provides leadership, coaching, and training to team members and new hires, helping to build a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment. Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Warehouse this role is key to supporting Advantech’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure warehouse operational standards are met by implementing effective action plans, strategies, policies, and procedures.\nOversee and coordinate all inventory activities, including annual and semi-annual physical counts, customer consignment projects, and reconciliation efforts in collaboration with Inventory Leads, Accounting, and external auditors.\nSupervise the distribution, processing, and storage of pallets, boxes, and materials in accordance with FIFO practices.\nMaintain organized inventory to maximize available space for incoming shipments.\nOversee accurate data entry, corrections, and reporting in SAP, WMS, and CTOS systems; resolve issues and discrepancies as needed.\nDevelop, analyze, and review reports on shipments and material flow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\nManage customer and sales order picks, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.\nProvide leadership, training, and development to warehouse employees, including forklift operation certification.\nPrepare and maintain warehouse Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.\nPerform additional tasks and projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 5–7 years of related warehouse experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, distribution, and/or operations.\nPrior supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse environment required.\nProven experience in inventory control management.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) preferred.\nProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operational policies and procedures.\nCurrent forklift certification required, with the ability to train and certify employees in forklift operation.\nAbility to manage and complete multiple projects effectively.\nStrong leadership, initiative, and project management skills.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with warehouse automation systems such as ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System), AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), or goods-to-person solutions.\nHands-on experience in process improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodology.\nExposure to digital transformation projects (e.g., paperless warehouse, system integration).\nFamiliarity with auto dimensioning and labeling systems or cross-dock operations.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary dependent on experience (DOE)\nWinning culture with a friendly, team-oriented environment!\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance.\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n401(k) with company match\nEducation & personal development reimbursement program\nGenerous vacation and paid holidays package\nCompany events, and lunches\nReferral Bonus\nAbout Advantech\nFounded in 1983, Advantech is a leader in providing trusted innovative embedded and automation products and solutions.
