Should any applicant have concerns about discrimination in the hiring process, they should provide a detailed report of those concerns to secure@hcltech.com for investigation.\r\nDetailed Responsibilities\r\nDesign and develop scalable data models and pipelines on the Snowflake data warehousing platform to meet evolving business requirements.\r\nWrite advanced SQL queries to efficiently extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for business intelligence, analytics, and operational use.\r\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.\r\nCollaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions.\r\nProactively troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high system performance, reliability, and data accuracy.\r\nStay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to Snowflake, SQL, and Python.\r\nDocument technical solutions, workflows, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance.\r\nSkill Requirements\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).\r\nProven proficiency with the Snowflake data warehousing platform, including data modeling, security, and performance tuning.\r\nAdvanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.\r\nStrong experience in Python programming for developing scripts, automation, and data workflows.\r\nSolid understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and best practices in data engineering.\r\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.\r\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.\r\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.\r\nOther Requirements (Optional)\r\nSnowPro Core Certification in Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory.\r\nExperience with MS SQL Server and related database technologies is highly desirable.\r\nExposure to cloud data platforms and modern data architecture is a plus.\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nA candidate's pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
