Develops studies, plans, criteria, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, performance assessments, integrated systems analysis, cost estimates, budgets, associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Exelon's electric generation, transmission, distribution, gas and telecommunication facilities/systems. Provides consultation and recommendations to the Company within and to other business units and/or customers as a result of studying company or customer-owned systems, processes, equipment, vehicles or facilities. Reviews financial data from budget and actual costs of projects. Operates independently and seeks guidance when appropriate. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.\n\nPrimary Duties\n\nPerforms engineering tasks associated with critical engineering projects or a number of small projects with many complex features.\n\nPerforms assignments in areas where engineering precedents are incomplete, lacking or require broad experience.\n\nEvaluates, develops and implements projects that have moderate financial and operational impact.\n\nMay serve as an expert for organization in a specific area or responsibility that may include the delivery of classroom training and/or OJT/OJE.\n\nWorks on execution of reliability engineering programs and workstreams by converting approved engineering recommendations, designs, and priorities into executable scopes, schedules, and technical work plans.\n\nCoordinates cross‑functional execution efforts across Operations, Field, Construction & Maintenance, T&S Engineering teams, and other organizations to address technical constraints, sequencing challenges, constructability issues, and operational impacts.\n\nDevelops and maintains technical execution documentation, including scopes of work, engineering summaries, work strategies, field guidance, implementation readiness materials, and post‑execution documentation as required.\n\nMonitors and manages execution progress for assigned reliability initiatives; identifies risks, dependencies, and delivery gaps, and provides recommended corrective actions or escalations to Engineers and leadership.\n\nProvides technical support during implementation by resolving execution‑phase technical issues, responding to field questions, and supporting installation, testing, or commissioning activities as needed to confirm alignment with engineering direction.\n\nJob Scope\n\nProvides technical assistance in support of senior engineers., managers and others.\n\nApplies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering\n\n2 - 4 years of professional engineering experience\n\nAbility to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.\n\nKnowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory.\n\nKnowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.\n\nGeneral knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform assignments for a specific discipline, various installations, or services\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nGraduate degree (1) or Graduate level work in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management Certification\n\nPossess Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (2)\n\nStrong written and oral communication/presentation skills, report generation & technical writing skills\n\nInterpersonal skills & the ability to collaborate with peers and managers\n\nConsulting and needs assessment skills\n\nA working knowledge of analysis software packages such as CYMDIST, PSS\\E, Python, PLS-CAD, Pole Foreman, Power BI, or similar.\n\nBenefits\n\nAnnual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $84,800.00/Yr. – $116,600.00/Yr.\n\nAnnual Bonus for eligible positions: 10%\n\n401(k) match and annual company contribution\n\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\n\nLife and disability insurance\n\nGenerous paid time off options, including vacation, sick time, floating and fixed holidays, maternity leave and bonding/primary caregiver leave or parental leave\n\nEmployee Assistance Program and resources for mental and emotional support\n\nWellbeing programs such as tuition reimbursement, adoption and surrogacy assistance and fitness reimbursement\n\nReferral bonus program\n\nNote: Exelon-sponsored compensation and benefit programs may vary or not apply based on length of service, job grade, job classification or represented status.
