Senior Network Analyst

NO DIRECT CALLS OR EMAILS. WILL NOT BE RETURNED.We are looking for a Sr. Network Analyst for our direct client onsite in Houston, TX through 2026. This position will be responsible for design and operation of the client LAN \ WAN network. In addition, the analyst will work with minimum direct supervision and work as part of technical teams on special projects and initiatives.Responsibilities:• Plan, design, and install routers, switches, or other network components.• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the following: spanning tree, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN technologies, WAN protocols.• Conduct network troubleshooting using network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.• Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) during audits.• Conduct knowledge transfer activities with peers or other support groups.• Responsible for vendor comparisons as needed.• Maintain network drawings.• Provide testing for new network hardware and software solutions.• Accountable for adhering to Change Management process for network related incidents.• Participates in process improvement initiatives.• Serve as member of technical team on selected large-scale substation networking projects.• Provides support, testing, troubleshooting for all business applications.• Utilize intelligent network management tools to isolate problems or improve network performanceRequirements:Minimum 6 years’ experience that includes network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network devices such as: routers and switches.Minimum 6 years’ experience in providing design and support services for large-scale, multi-site network environments.Possess good working knowledge and experience in planning, design, installation, and support of LAN (Ethernet, Gig-Ethernet).Possess good working knowledge and experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) protocols such as: CONITEL, DNP, Modbus and 68150.Possess good working knowledge of cybersecurity.Possess good NERC-CIP knowledgeDesired Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCENTAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate motor vehicle and enter/exit vehicle without assistance.Willingness to travel to meetings offsite.Willingness to work nights/weekends to complete projects.We look forward to receiving your resume in PDF format.
