This position will be located in Landover, MD\nJob Type: Full-time\nHours: 4AM-1230PM\nKey Responsibilities:\nMake all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.\nPick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.\nComplete local deliveries to job sites.\nCheck vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.\nComplying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.\nAdvise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.\nComplete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.\nReporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.\nAdvise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.\nOther duties as assigned by Manager\nQualifications and Skills:\nAbility to operate warehouse equipment\nAt least 1 year of experience operating a 26-foot box truck\nMust be strongly independent.\nMust have a valid Class-B CDL driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.\nMust meet all DOT requirements, including applicable testing, and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.\nCustomer Service Experience and Driving Experience\nMust be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service\nBenefits:\nAt USESI, we believe that our benefits should make a difference-to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
