This is a potential to hire position for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Apply now!Machine Operator Responsibilities:- Operating all assigned equipment in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, GMP's, and job specifications- Monitoring and operating beverage filling equipment, packaging lines, de-palletizers, and stackers to ensure optimal performance and product quality- Performing equipment start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns in a safe and efficient manner- Conducting routine inspections and identifying mechanical issues; promptly reporting concerns to maintenance and leadership- Performing clean-in-place and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene and food safety standards- Accurately documenting production data, machine settings, downtime, and quality checks per protocols- Ensuring all finished products meet company quality standards for volume, labeling, packaging, coding, and appearance- Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and making necessary adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain production flow- Monitoring production lines for jams or material issues and taking corrective action as needed- Assisting with proper line setup and ensuring correct materials are used- Performing regular case inspections to verify product quality and compliance- Maintaining clean and organized work area- Supporting team operations across production lines as needed to ensure smooth workflow- Completing all required documentation accurately and thoroughlyRequirements for Machine Operator:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred- Prior manufacturing experience preferred- Knowledge of QMS, food safety standards, and GMP's- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions- Strong attention to detail with ability to quickly identify and resolve issues- Effective communication and teamwork skills- Willingness to get forklift certified- Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment; lift/move 50 pounds frequentlyIND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
