In this role, you’ll operate and support rewinding equipment used to finish high-quality labels and shrink-sleeve packaging for leading brands in wine & spirits, health & beauty, and food & beverage.\nYou’ll play a critical role in the final stage of production — ensuring printed materials are slit, inspected, and rewound to customer specifications with precision and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and taking ownership of quality and output.\nLocation note: This position is based at our Mason, OH facility (8467 Duke Blvd) — about 7 miles from West Chester, roughly a 15-minute drive. One of the shortest commutes you'll find for skilled production work in Butler and Warren County. Free on-site parking.\nRequirements:\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nOperate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications\nSet up jobs including core loading, blade positioning, tension settings, and web alignment\nInspect printed material during rewinding to identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues\nEnsure finished rolls meet specifications for width, diameter, and winding quality\nManage roll changes, splicing, and material handling throughout production runs\nPackage finished rolls and prepare them for the next stage or shipment\nAccurately record production data, including quantities, waste, and job performance\nPerform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rewinding equipment\nTroubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate when needed\nCommunicate effectively with press operators, finishing teams, and supervisors\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and efficiency\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience operating manufacturing equipment or working in a production environment preferred\nStrong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery\nAttention to detail with a strong focus on quality and consistency\nAbility to identify defects in printed materials and take corrective action\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment\nAbility to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during production runs\nPositive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic\nExperience with slitting, rewinding, or converting equipment is a plus, but not required\nWillingness to learn and grow within a production environment\nAvailability for 2nd shift or the weekend shift strongly preferred\nShift Schedule\nWe run four-day weekday shifts and a three-day weekend shift, so every schedule here comes with at least three consecutive days off:\n1st shift — Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Three-day weekend, every week.\n2nd shift — Tuesday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Three-day weekend, every week, plus a shift differential.\nWeekend shift — Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full-time hours in three days, four days off every week, plus a shift differential.\nA shift differential is paid for 2nd shift and the weekend shift.
